R.W. BRO. TERRY M. HORNIBROOK

R.W. Bro. Terry M. Hornibrook, the youngest of three children, was born and raised on the family farm in Strong Township where he currently resides. During his working career he has laboured in many diverse fields, but for the past 17 years has been employed by Anderson Windows, in Sundridge, as a service technician.

He and his partner Judi have six children and seven grandchildren ranging in age from eleven to one year old. He is a third generation Mason, a member of Strong Lodge No. 423 in Sundridge and was Worshipful Master in 2005-2006. His father, the late V.W. Bro. Joseph Hornibrook was a Past District Secretary of Muskoka-Parry Sound District and a very active mason in his own right. Presently R.W. Bro. Hornibrook has two sons and a step-son sitting as Junior Wardens in three Lodges within the Jurisdiction, along with a son-in-law who is a member of our great fraternity. The Hornibrook family clearly has strong bloodlines in the Family of Freemasonry.

His hobbies include hunting, golfing, gardening, historical reading and cutting grass; particularly in world renown Sandhill Golf & Country Club, home of the Annual Cow Pasture Golf Tournament.

In his spare time, R.W. Bro. Hornibrook is an active member of the North Bay Valley of Scottish Rite Masonry. He is the Director of the 13th Degree Team and plays a role in three other Scottish Rite degrees.

In speaking with our new District Deputy Grand Master about the journeys he has taken, he wrapped up the conversation by saying; "I am very humbled and honoured to have the opportunity to serve our Grand Lodge, the almost 1,000 Masons in this wonderful District and this great Fraternity as the District Deputy Grand Master of Muskoka - Parry Sound District. Mere words cannot adequately express my gratitude to you all."
