Hello. It was a pleasure to come across your page while researching the Muskoka Tartan for an article to appear soon in the Muskoka Magazine. Is there anyone out there who can tell me more about its history? For example, was it designed for your club, or adopted by your club after being designed? Were Mrs. Wattson and Mrs. Kirkvaag wives of club members? Any additional information would be appreciated. My e-mail address is paulaboon@yahoo.com Thank you!

To whom it may concern my name is John Glenn Martin, and I am trying to locate the name and lodge number that my uncle was, or is, still a member. The closest that I have come is a reference to a Wilson Lodge No. 86 GRC. I am in the process of applying to become a mason myself, and the reason I am looking is that I am graduating College this year and I heard of bursaries that may be awarded to myself if I qualify. If anyone is able to help I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. P.S. I believe that being a mason is about "making a man a better man" and that is no lie. I am incredibly taken by all the Good Masons do for their communities especially the youth. My boyfriend is a Mason and 2 of my grandmothers were Eastern stars. One fell off and the other passed. My grandmother that fell off wanted to take me to her church so I could become an Eastern Star, she told me the things that I would say to her made her want to turn her life around, and I told her that it was just God using me to tell you and let you know he cares and he is always there. I know what I wrote wasn't a comment but I was hoping someone could email me because I need to talk to someone about some things I don't understand. carlnettakelley@yahoo.com

Hi, Very nice web-site. I wonder if someone there could help me. I have a picture of which I'm trying to find the history and significance. It's approximately 80 years old. This print depicts a man riding a turkey on a Middle Eastern Desert while wearing a Shriner's hat. I made a web-page with more details and pictures. This print was last on display for many years in a private club in Johnstown, PA. Little is known about it. Please visit this web-page for more information and pictures. http://franklaco.tripod.com/man_on_turkey/turkey.htm I would appreciate any information that you might be able to provide. Thanks. Greetings Brothers from John Collier of Delta Lodge #634 in Aurora, Ontario. I am nearing retirement from the police force in Toronto and sort of had my sights set on moving North to the Bracebridge area in the next year. I thought I would scout out some information regarding your Blue Lodge, nearest Chapter, and of course your Shrine Club. My address is 119 Wood Lane Richmond Hill, Ontario L4C4W2 and my e-mail address is john.collier@sympatico.ca . I also have a good friend. Ernest Bremner who is a Brother and who has recently moved to the Shea Road off Windemere (Muskoka Rd#4) He wishes to be active in the blue lodge up there. He is hesitant to approach as he does not know very many people up there. If you like I could give you his e-mail address. Any assistance you could be in either regard would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance, I remain Yours in Masonry. John Collier

I am Mrs. Harry Wattson's granddaughter. She co-designed the Muskoka Tartan. I have noticed that both in the Huntsville Public Library and on your website my grandmother's name Wattson is spelled incorrectly, with one t instead of two. this may seem minor to some, but as the name with this spelling is quite rare, my Uncle Barry Wattson, last male in our family line passed away last August, it is very important to me that the correct spelling be acknowledged. My family, and I would greatly appreciate it if this could be corrected. Thank you for your time and assistance. Sincerely, Martha J. Clarke marthaclarke@hotmail.com

Pleasant website. Friendly and warm. I considered tending an application back when I was 20. At the time, I was working side by side with Stan Enoch later to become the grand master of the Menlo Park CA lodge. My father wanted me too join, though he never did. Stan was a sterling individual. Some how I felt my plate was full, and did not fill-out the (then) blue application. At 61, I regret that decision. All the Masons I have known are fantastic people. Its not masonry necessarily that makes them so good, as some I know were great spirits before joining. Respectfully Al Lilleberg

Jim, I've got to congratulate you on the web site. I also have to say a heart felt thank you to one and all at Corona for the very warm (no pun intended) welcome given to me by yourself, Mike Grima and DDGM Herman Waxl on the evening of your installation. I have to say that I only hope that it will not be long before I can get back and visit you all once more. Many more years to prosper and grow. David Thompson. JD Lodge Zetland No. 391, S.C.
Bro Thompson, your visit to Corona was well received by the brethren, thank you for the visit. However, next time it promises to be a rather cool experience as we now have central air conditioning. You are most welcome here at any time and we look forward to your return. Meanwhile, may your journey be an enlightened and pleasant one. W.Bro. Jim Kirk-White.

My boss is a Mason and so is my Grandfather. He is so excited that I have decided to become one, although im not really sure what it is. All he tells me is that it will be good for myself and my family. Thank you Michael Penrose
What a great site! Thanks W. Bro. Jim! I like the way you have the District divided by Lodge and those members with e-mail access being linked to their address! Dear Brethren, I'll be visiting Toronto towards the end of the 4th week of April, with my family. I'll probably stay in the Scarborough area. I saw that Prince of Wales lodge (Toronto 1) and Georgina lodge (Toronto 3) are meeting on the 4th Friday of the month. Can anyone give me the address and/or contact point for one of those lodges. Thank you, Adrian Cretu, Fellow Craft Mason, Loge des Coeurs-Unis #45, Grande Loge du Quebec Montreal
